This last sunday I had an amazing life drawing session at the Concept Design academy, where the model was simply amazing, I was able to see and draw the muscles more clearly, and had a lot of fun really inspired, this probably one of my best so far.
These are really good sketches. I have to go to two life drawing classes next year and i'm pretty scared but also excited. Have any advice on how to not be nervous about seeing the subject.
-lapzpec ,hands feet and faces in particular , i found , used to take up allot of time in class , i found it a more effective use of my time to study and draw the bits we don't normally see in the five/ten mins given . i knew i could focus on hands, feet , and faces , any time.... our natural instinct are to look at the face/eyes ... if the face is not quite right , for me , it could ruin the feel... speak for myself of course , but feet and hands can also detract from the study of the body ...
with the short amount of time given i can understand where your coming from because i'm in a similar situation but without the hands and feet it kinda ruin the feel i get when looking at it and its Lazpev
No wonder you said these figure drawings were the best you ever did. They look pretty frickin' amazing if you ask me, especially on how dynamic and flexible these are.
