Hi reiq!
I have a question; is their any art school or online art school that you have studied at?
I'm really curious.
Thanks!

Reiq I looooove your work their awsome.
Is it ok to ask you a question?
During your training stage did you study anatomy while practicing gestures cuz I would see you do geatures first then detail, so is it possible to study anatomy like that,or I have to do it independently?  Mine are illustrations you see but they have no depth, and my biggest biggest problem is that I have to study anatomy with pics as there are no Real life classes where I'm from.
I don't know WHERE to start practicing  becuz of this....  : (
Please please see this post and I beg you please HELP ME (my drawing)

hi!
im not reiq but I can say that there are many pose references on deviant art as well as youtube tutorials on anatomy that can help you!
why not try those?
if you want I could link you to some!:happybounce: :happybounce: :happybounce:

p.s. real life classes can also be a bit akward..........just saying!

I know what you are going through!
I went through the same thing!
if your main goal is drawing and not 3d rendering or animation I don't recommend studying anatomy in such depth as it is very time consuming!
for example, most of reiq's work is not anatomically correct, he sort of developed his own style and worked with it to become better.
much of anatomy isn't necessarily needed to achieve depth!
I recommend you practice your shading and style more as it looks great!
however, if you want a realistic feel to your artwork, try bases as they will help you get on the right track.
lots of manga and anime have a realistic feel to them even though they have different skeletal structures.
for now I recommend that you post more art as that is the ONLY way anyone gets better.
reiq has been on deviant art for 10 years and skills like that do not develop overnight.
I am an example of this as well as my first artworks resembled lack of creativity, but  slowly I practiced and got better (I am still improving!) I use a mouse and regular 'mypaint' for my work and that just does to show that you don't need fancy materials or expert knowledge to make decent art.
keep practicing!
